Hinton Senior High Mission, 2011

Hinton Rural Life Center is nestled in the Southern Appalachian mountains
overlooking Lake Chatuge in Hayesville, NC.  Hinton, a mission agency of
the United Methodist Church, creates opportunities for work teams from
all over the country to experience the rich mountain culture found there,
to serve with others in repairing or building new homes with families,
and to grow in their understanding of Christian community and faith in
action.  The work includes repairing porches, painting homes, fixing leaky
roofs, building ramps, replacing rotten floors, and many other similar
home repairs.
